From one of our favorite California producers, this wine hails from the Clear Lake AVA and is made from a grape (Touriga Nacional) traditionally used in making the sweet wine Port. On the nose there are tropical fruits; notes of guava, pomegranate and passionfruit that mingle with dried orange peel and citrus blossom. The palate has a zesty acidity and a slightly salty finish that reminds us of sea air. This is a real "treat yourself" bottle.
